Badrinath is a significant pilgrimage centre for the Vaishnavite<strong>s. There are various structures within the temple complex which depict history and culture of Indian religion.\u00a0<strong>The main temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Lotus Temple<\/strong>: Lotus Temple is a Bahai House of Worship that was completed in 1986. Bahai Faith is a world religion which seeks to unite all people under one common faith.\u00a0<strong> The temple has nine doors which lead to a central hall devoid of pictures, statues or idols.<\/strong>\u00a0The temple along with the surrounding ponds and gardens spread over an area of <strong>26 acres.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Birla Mandir<\/strong>: Birla Mandir also known as the Laxminarayan temple is dedicated to Laxminarayan. <strong>The\u00a0<\/strong><em><strong>mandir<\/strong><\/em><strong>\u00a0was inaugurated by Mahatma<\/strong> Gandhi and has since become a major tourist destination of\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tripcrafters.com\/travel\/delhi-tourism-and-travel-guide\" target=\"_blank\">Delhi<\/a>.\u00a0On <em>Diwali,\u00a0<\/em>lot of devotees visit the temple to offer their prayers. <\/li><li><strong>ISKON Temple<\/strong>: ISKON temple located at Hare Krishna Hills is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radharani.\u00a0<strong>The ISKON temple is one of the largest temples in India.<\/strong>\u00a0The temple follows a strict standard of worship with six\u00a0<em>pujas\u00a0<\/em>and six\u00a0<em>bhog\u00a0<\/em>offerings made to the deities each day.<\/li><li><strong>Jwalamukhi Temple<\/strong>: is located in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tripcrafters.com\/travel\/himachal-pradesh-tourism-and-travel-guide\" target=\"_blank\">Himachal Pradesh<\/a>. In the temple there is a copper pipe through which <strong>natural gas comes out and the priest lights this. This is taken as a manifestation of the goddess Jwalamukhi. <\/strong>The temple houses no deities.\u00a0The Goddess is worshipped in the form of the flames. The temple is located on the banks of the Bhadravati River, a tributary of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Banas_River\">Banas River<\/a>\u00a0in the hills of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aravali_Range\">Aravali<\/a>. The temple is dedicated to the tutelary deity, Lord\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Krishna\">Krishna<\/a>. It is believed that Shri Gopal Singhji got victory in the battle of Daultabad. After this the king in his dream saw that Lord Krishna instructed him to fetch his idol from Amer and installed at Karauli. The king of Karauli therefore, brought this idol and got this temple constructed to enshrine it.
