She is the sister\nof&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Krishna\">Krishna<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Balarama\">Balarama<\/a>, wife of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arjuna\">Arjuna<\/a>,&nbsp; mother of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Abhimanyu\">Abhimanyu<\/a>, and\nshe is the daughter of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vasudeva\">Vasudeva<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Devaki\">Devaki<\/a>. Subhadra\nis well-known for her kindness, holiness, chastity and purity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arjuna\">Arjuna<\/a>\u00a0 travelled to <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dv%C4%81rak%C4%81\">Dwarka<\/a>\u00a0and met\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Krishna\">Krishna<\/a>, and expressed his wish to marry Subhadra, and Lord Krishna has agreed. But Lord Balarama was interested in marrying her with Duryodana. Due to that, Arjuna kidnapped Subhadra and bravely fought with Balarama and his army\u00a0and defeated them. Finally, Krishna pacified Balarama and gets his consent and conducted the marriage of Subhadra with Arjuna in a grand manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mata Subhadra is a charming\nlady with attractive face and contains a divine look. She showers her motherly\naffection on her devotees and safeguards them in their day to day life. By\nworshipping her, we would get the blessings of Lord Krishna and Balarama also.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subhadra is one of the three\ndeities worshipped at the Jagannath temple at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Puri\">Puri<\/a>, along with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Krishna\">Krishna<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Balarama\">Balarama<\/a>.&nbsp;She\nis also worshiped as a family deity by certain sections of people in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Odisha\">Odisha<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/West_Bengal\">West Bengal<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a
