Due to that, Lord Shiva had suffered from severe hunger. Hence he went to the present place of the temple, where his consort Mata Shakti Devi, transformed into Annapoorneshwari and began to distribute food to Lord Shiva, and due to that, Shiva was relieved from his curse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It is believed that during the 8<sup>th<\/sup> century AD, the great rishi, Sri Agastya had installed the Annapoorneswari idol at this temple<\/strong>. The temple is administered by hereditary&nbsp;priests and a particular family is excellently discharging their duties in this temple.&nbsp;The surroundings of the temple provide a rich feast to the eyes of the devotees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This holy Annapoorna&nbsp;Temple was worshipped by many saints The details of this temple are also mentioned in ancient texts of Hinduism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The idol of Mata Annapoorneshwariis covered with full of gold, and she appears in a standing position, and holds Chakra and Chanku in her hands.Those who&nbsp;visit the holy Devi Anapoorna,would never starve in their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"http:\/\/poojabell.com\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/poojabell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/5556-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21400\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Akshaya Tritya is the main festival celebrated in this temple<\/strong>. Beverages like milk and coffee is also provided to the pilgrims at free of cost, and free lodging facilities are also provided to the pilgrims.
