She can be worshipped by reciting her various names and chanting her slokas.<\/li><li><strong>Adi Parashakti<\/strong>\u00a0is considered as the supreme goddess\u00a0in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shaktism\">Shaktism<\/a>\u00a0sect. She is also called by names such as &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Adi_Shakti\">Adi Shakti<\/a>&#8220;, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/w\/index.php?title=Maha_Shakti&amp;action=edit&amp;redlink=1\">Maha Shakti<\/a>&#8220;, and \u201cMahanGauri\u201d.\u00a0According to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Devi-Bhagavata_Purana\">Devi-Bhagavata Purana<\/a>, she is the main activating force and she only creates, protects and destroys the entire universe.\u00a0<\/li><li><strong>Akilandeswari<\/strong>\u00a0 is one of the main forms of Mata <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Parvati\">Parvati<\/a>. The famous temple of Akilandeswari is situated at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thiruvanaikoil\">Thiruvanaikoil<\/a>. She is also worshipped as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Meenakshi\">Meenakshi<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kamakshi\">Kamakshi<\/a>\u00a0 and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vishalakshi\">Vishalakshi<\/a>.<\/li><li><strong>Jaganmata<\/strong>\u00a0means the mother of the entire universe and she is considered to be an avatar of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Parvati\">Parvati<\/a> Devi. Jaganmata is another form of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bhuvaneshvari\">Bhuvaneshvari<\/a> Devi and contains temples in Tamilnadu. Mata\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Parvathi\">Parvathi<\/a>\u00a0is worshipped as Kolaramma by the people of Kolar. The kings of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mysore\">Mysore<\/a>\u00a0regularly visited this temple to get the divine blessings of Mata Kolaramma, and done many charitable activities in this temple like providing food to the poor devotees. They also arranged to conduct regular pujas and abhishekhams to the goddess. <\/li><li><strong>Sati<\/strong> is the daughter of Lord Daksha, and she was later married to Lord Shiva. Once she went to the yagna conducted by his father daksha. Her father didn\u2019t like her due to her marriage with Lord Shiva, and hence insulted her. Mata Sati self-immolated herself, through her divine power, and her body fell down in several parts of the world. Her 51 parts which fell in different places are called as 51 Shakti Peetas.<\/li><li><strong>Paranasabari Devi <\/strong>is worshipped for getting rid from several dreaded diseases, and also gives mental energy along with spiritual energy. She also throws out our enemies, and gives permanent protection to our problems.<\/li><li><strong>Rudrani<\/strong>\u00a0is the\u00a0consort of\u00a0Lord <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rudra\">Rudra<\/a>. She is considered as a supreme manifestation of Mata Parvati. Rudrani contains the powers of Lord Rudra and she is also called as Maheshwari and Uma Maheshwari.<\/li><li><strong>Saibini<\/strong>\u00a0is goddess worshipped by the people\u00a0of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Goa\">Goa<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/India\">India<\/a>. She is none other than our divine mother parvati, who protects the universe from harmful activities and gives proper solution to the problems caused due to natural calamities like earth quake, storm, tsunami, drought and famine.
