{"id":21733,"date":"2021-05-04T11:41:15","date_gmt":"2021-05-04T06:11:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/poojabell.com\/?p=21732"},"modified":"2021-05-04T11:41:15","modified_gmt":"2021-05-04T06:11:15","slug":"banasura-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/demo.madrodigital.com\/poojabellnew\/2021\/05\/04\/banasura-2\/","title":{"rendered":"BANASURA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong><u>INTRODUCTION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Banasura<\/strong>was a\u00a0thousand-armed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Asura\">Asura<\/a>\u00a0king, and the son of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mahabali\">Bali<\/a>, and the great grand-son of Bhakt Prahalad.\u00a0Banasura is believed to have ruled the present-day\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Assam\">Assam<\/a>. <strong>Banasura<\/strong>, a great demon king, once ruled over a large kingdom. He was a brave and a courageous ruler who never got afraid of any one. Even the devas and the asuras were given proper respect and honored him. Banasura was a great shiva devotee. He used to worship a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rasalingam\">Rasalingam<\/a>\u00a0which was given to him by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vishvakarman\">Vishvakarma<\/a>. He used his thousand arms to play the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mridanga\">Mridanga<\/a>\u00a0when Shiva was performing the\u00a0dance. Due to the boon given by Lord Shiva, Shiva protects his entire kingdom. Due to that, he got pride and considered himself as the powerful person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He got a daughter and her name was Usha. One day, Ushandreamt of Aniruddha, the grandson of Lord Krishna and fell in love with him. Her friend Chitralekha was an efficient artist and helped her friend Usha to identify the young man by drawing various pictures. Chitralekha, through her supernatural powers, took Aniruddha from the palace of Krishna and brought him to Usha. Due to that a fight between Krishna and Banasura had taken place.\u00a0 Banasura was defeated by Lord Krishna. And Banasura apologized to Lord Krishna and married his daughter to Lord Krishna\u2019s grand- son, Aniruddha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"www.poojabell.com\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/poojabell.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/5556-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21400\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Banasura&#8217;s story has been mentioned in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mahabharata\">Mahabharata<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bhagavata_Purana\">BhagavataPurana<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>IMPORTANCE<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was a great shiva devotee, and after his death, he attained the abode of Lord Shiva, Kailasa and become one of his attendants.
