She is also a form of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Adi_Parashakti\">AdiParashakti<\/a>&nbsp;and is the consort of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sharabha\">Sharabeswarar,<\/a> a form of Lord Shiva, who took the avatar to pacify Lord Narasimha. She contains lion\u2019s face&nbsp;and human body and contains the combined power of&nbsp;Lord <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vishnu\">Vishnu<\/a>,&nbsp;Lord <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shiva\">Shiva<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;Goddess <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shakti\">Shakti<\/a>. She was created in order to protect the good ones from the evil forces. Pratyangira is also worshipped as Kali and Narasimhi by the devotees. According to the ancient Vedas, she is mentioned as the lion goddess with great protective and destructive powers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lord&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Narasimha\">Narasimha<\/a>, even after killing the demon King&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hiranyakashipu\">Hiranyakashipu<\/a>&nbsp;was remained in anger and fiercely roared. In order to control him, Lord&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Shiva\">Shiva<\/a>&nbsp;took the form of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sharabha\">Sharabeswarar<\/a>, and controlled his anger.
