Durga,is mentioned in ancient epics, in Purana and in Mahabharata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She killed the demon king Mahishasura and also had given <strong>SALVATION<\/strong> to him. She is such a merciful, kind and affectionate mother!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day of Durga&#8217;s victory over the destroying of the demons is celebrated as&nbsp;Vijayadashami.
