He ruled his pallava dynasty in a proper manner. During his period, he spread the shaivism sect throughout his region and people in his region  lived happily and peacefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LIFE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kalarsinga was a\u00a0Pallava\u00a0king and conquered many kingdoms and become a great emperor. He was an ardent devotee of Lord\u00a0Shiva and he went to many places to visit Shiva temples. Once, he travelled to\u00a0Thiruvarur\u00a0along with his queen and worshiped Lord Shiva at the Sri Achaleswarar Temple. The queen picked a flower from the flower garden in the temple and smelt it. Seruthunai Nayanar who was serving at the temple noticed the queen&#8217;s actions, and got angry with the queen and punished her by severing her nose. The king Kalarsinga enquired and Seruthunai Nayanar told about the entire incident. Kalarsinga considered that the punishment given by the nayanar to the queen was inadequate, and with his sword, he chopped off the hand of the queen also, by which she lifted the flower. Karlarsinga was blessed by Lord Shiva for his noble action, and the queen\u2019s nose and arm was restored by the grace of Lord Shiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After\nhis death, he reached the divine abode of Lord Shiva, the kailasa and is still\nserving Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati and chanting his shivapanchakshara mantra \u201c<strong>OM NAMAH SHIVAYA<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sundarar\u00a0praises Kalarsinga Nayanar in the\u00a0famous text \u201cTiruthonda Thogai\u201d and describes his greatness of serving the god with much loyalty and faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kalarsinga Nayanar is worshiped in the\u00a0Tamil month\u00a0of\u00a0Vaikasi, and he is also worshiped as one among the nayanars in the Shiva temples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let us worship the great\nnayanar saint and be blessed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cOM\nSREE KALARSINGA NAYANARE NAMAHA\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cOM\nNAMAH SHIVAYA\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cOM\nSAKTHI PARASAKTHI\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WRITTE<\/strong>N BY R.
